Experience

Mr. Hobbs is currently a law student focusing on intellectual property and corporate law. He is also an editor for the Nexus Journal of Law and Policy at Chapman University School of Law and President of the IP Law Society. While at Inhouse Co., Mr. Hobbs has drafted numerous patent applications, responded to patent office actions and drafted a several Board of Patent Appeals and Interferences briefs. Mr. Hobbs has also assisted in trademark and corporate litigation.

Prior to working at Inhouse Co., Mr. Hobbs externed for the Honorable Peter Carroll of the United States Bankruptcy Court and was a summer clerk for Chief Judge Andrew S. Effron of the Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces in Washington, D.C. Mr. Hobbs spent six years on active duty with the United States Army, including deployments to Bosnia, Macedonia, and Kosovo, and is current a member of the Army Reserve with the rank of Major. In addition to being a member of the board of directors and vice president at a multistate trucking firm, he also held corporate management positions with GE, McCormick &Co., and Home Depot.
