Experience

Shannon Brainerd was recently admitted to the California Bar. While at Inhouse Co., Ms. Brainerd has written numerous motions, conducted legal research, and extensively participated in trial preparation for jury trials and bench trials in both California state courts and federal courts, most notably a breach of contract state court case that involved several hundred thousand dollars and a federal copyright case involving a multimillion dollar claim. In addition, Ms. Brainerd wrote an appellate brief for an ongoing appeals case.

Prior to working at Inhouse Co., Ms. Brainerd acquired extensive experience in criminal cases, writing and arguing motions while working at the District Attorney’s Office. Ms. Brainerd has experience handling traffic cases, sexual assault, and serious violent felony parole hearings.
